Kitchen Resprays

The carcasses in most kitchens outlive the doors by a decade. Respraying the doors and panels changes the whole room for a fraction of a new kitchen, and it happens off site rather than in your house.

Coastal 2PAC, their own work.

The doors come off and come to us. You keep a working kitchen the whole time: bare carcasses, but running taps and a fridge that opens.

Old doors carry history. Melamine that has lifted at a corner, MDF that has swollen under the sink, chips down the edge of the bin drawer. That gets found and fixed before any colour goes on, because a respray over a swollen edge is money spent twice.

The whole set is sprayed together in the same session. Doors sprayed weeks apart do not match, and on a wall of twenty of them you would see it immediately.

Questions we actually get

Can you respray my kitchen without replacing it?
That is the usual reason people call. The doors, drawer fronts and panels come off and come to the workshop; the carcasses stay in your house. You get a different kitchen for a fraction of a new one.
How long am I without doors?
It depends on the size of the job and the finish, and we would rather give you a real date once we have seen it than a number on a website. The carcasses stay usable the whole time.
Can you spray melamine or laminate doors?
Generally yes: it is a preparation question rather than a paint question. Where a laminate or vinyl wrap has already started lifting, we need to see photos first, because sometimes the honest answer is that the door is finished.
