Shaker kitchen, resprayed
A tired oak-look kitchen taken to satin white, with the routed shoulders kept crisp and the whole set sprayed together so it reads as one.

The carcasses were sound, which is the usual story. It was the doors doing all the ageing: a yellowed clear over an oak look, chipped along the bin drawer and soft in one corner under the sink.
Everything came off and came here. Hinges and soft-close gear bagged and labelled by position, because a shaker set that goes back in the wrong order never quite sits right.
The routed shoulders were the thing to protect. Build too much material into a shaker profile and the internal corners fill, the shoulders soften, and you have paid for a detail you can no longer see. Lighter passes, more of them.
All thirty-three pieces sprayed in the same session. Across a wall of that many doors, a set sprayed in two batches will not match, and you would see it from the doorway.
Whole sets get sprayed together. Two batches never match across a wall of doors.
Before, and after
